Pump & Submersible Repair

From borewell submersibles to pressure boosters — repaired, rewound and tested before they go back in the water.

Kerala's Pumps, Back in Action

Whether it's the borewell submersible that supplies your home, the openwell pump irrigating your farm, or the pressure system feeding an apartment block, a failed pump disrupts everything. We repair and rewind pumps of all leading Indian brands — with the specialised water-proof winding wire, seals and testing that submersible work demands.

Pumps We Service

  • Borewell submersible pumps (V3, V4, V6, V8) — all HP ratings
  • Openwell submersible pumps
  • Monoblock and centrifugal pumps
  • Jet pumps and self-priming pumps
  • Pressure booster pumps for apartments, hotels and hospitals
  • Sewage & drainage (dewatering) pumps
  • Agricultural irrigation pump sets

What We Do

  • Motor rewinding with PVC/poly-wrap water-proof submersible winding wire
  • Mechanical seal, bearing, bush and impeller replacement
  • Shaft straightening and dynamic balancing
  • Thrust bearing and wear-ring replacement for submersibles
  • Control panel and starter repair (DOL, star–delta, submersible panels)
  • Water-filled testing before delivery — every submersible is tested submerged, the way it actually runs

Common Problems We Fix

  • Pump runs but no water / low discharge — worn impellers, blocked strainer or falling water table diagnosis
  • Tripping or fuse blowing — winding faults, earth leakage or panel issues
  • Humming without starting — capacitor, bearing seizure or single-phasing
  • Frequent burnouts — voltage problems, dry running or wrong pump selection; we fix the cause, not just the symptom

Protect Your Pump

Most pump burnouts in Kerala trace back to voltage fluctuation, dry running or lightning-season surges. Along with repair, we supply and fit single-phase preventers, dry-run preventers, digital voltage protectors and automatic level controllers — small investments that typically pay for themselves by preventing a single burnout.

Frequently Asked Questions

My submersible pump stopped suddenly. What should I check first?

Check the panel first — tripped MCB, blown fuse or a failed capacitor cause most 'dead pump' calls. If the panel is fine, the pump needs inspection. Don't keep resetting and restarting; repeated attempts on a faulty pump can turn a small repair into a full rewind.

How long does a submersible pump repair take?

Typical overhauls take 2–3 working days including submerged testing. If the winding is intact and only seals/bearings are needed, it can be quicker. We confirm the timeline with the estimate after inspection.

Do you also lift the pump out of the borewell?

We can arrange pump lifting and reinstallation along with the repair — including checking the cable, clamps and pipe condition while it's out. Mention the bore depth when you call so we bring the right equipment.

Is it worth repairing an old pump?

Usually yes, if the body and core are sound. We'll tell you honestly when replacement makes more sense — for example when the stator core is damaged or the model's spares are obsolete.
